Shaun is joint MD and owner of Whitegates, along with its sister lettings business Martin & Co, with over 25 years’ property experience. He is a well-known local figure due to his involvement with numerous community events such as The Battle of Nantwich, and working to represent local business to local and national government. He is also a former Chairman of the South Cheshire Chamber of Commerce, and of The Georges Community Centre in Crewe, as well as for many years sitting on the regional Bank of England panel. He remains a passionate advocate for South Cheshire’s many private businesses and shops, and is a strong believer in local business working with the local community. Both Whitegates and Martin&Co support many local community projects such as Nantwich in Bloom, the Nantwich Show and youngsters football teams in Crewe and Alsager. On the rare occasions when he is not working or organising things, Shaun enjoys hiking, reading, music and following Crewe Alexandra FC. One of his ambitions is to improve his fluency in Hungarian!
