Having worked in financial services for over 40 years and counting, Mark Askey, and his business partner Mark Sutcliffe, bought the Martin & Co franchise in 2009, as they saw the opportunity to successfully combine the business with their roles as mortgage advisers. Now in an accountancy capacity with Whitegates, Mark shares the values of Chris, Amy, and Daniel in being very passionate about providing excellent customer service. Mark is married with 2 adult children and 2 grandchildren. In his spare time, football is his passion, and he is currently involved at Northern Premier League side Hanley Town. Mark also has strong links with Macclesfield Town FC, as his younger brother John is considered a legend amongst the Silkmen supporters, having served the club as a player, coach, and manager – in the latter he guided the club back to the football league in 2018.
