Whitegates, Nantwich, was the headline sponsor for the return of the Holly Holy Day and Battle of Nantwich, which proved hugely successful on Saturday 21st January in the Cheshire town.
Despite the cold weather, thousands turned up to watch the 50th anniversary of the reenactment of the 1644 battle between the Parliamentarians and Royalists. The popular event made a memorable return following a two-year absence due to the pandemic.
The day, which included an ‘appearance’ from King Charles I and a host of community held events, was once again attended by huge numbers and entertaining for all ages.
Whitegates was once again honoured to be the main sponsor of such a prestigious event and would like to congratulate everyone involved.
